On October 19, 2024, Terabridges got to participate in the Spaceburgh event, which took place in Downtown Pittsburgh at Market Square.
What did Terabridges do at Spaceburgh?
As part of this event, our team had a booth where people could shoot a pre-made or a self-made airplane through the rings. Additionally, our team brought an airplane launcher that was used during the 2023-2024 FTC seasons to also launch an airplane through the rings and see if it does better than the human.
Our team also brought Sphero Indis over for younger audiences, so that they could play around with the color sensor and navigate through a path to reach the finish line. This
Meeting Other Professionals/Teams
In addition to hosting our own booth, our team got to meet professionals that gave advice to our designs and other teams that were showcasing their robots.
The Impact on Spaceburgh
Our team got numerous participants for both the airplane launching and the Sphero Indi exploration. in fact, our booth got nearly 350 people that participated in our activities. Our team also got to look around the other booths around the robotics booth, which included booths like the Pittsburgh Swordfighters. The environment allowed for there to be many people that participated at our robotics booth.
