On Saturday, November 8th, 2025, Terabridges hosted and refereed our annual FLL Scrimmage for the Unearthed season at Upper St. Clair High School.
A total of 47 middle school teams from across Western Pennsylvania came together to participate in the event, including several teams from Upper St. Clair. Seeing these teams that we mentor achieve great results at our scrimmage was incredible and we couldn’t be more proud of them.
Terabridges worked hard to ensure that everything was ready for the scrimmage. Our team helped to set up the venue on Friday and arrived early Saturday morning to ensure everything ran smoothly. With 12 practice tables and 4 scrimmage tables, the venue was buzzing with excitement!

Gordon Walton from Brainstem served as the event facilitator, while our scorekeepers and emcees were exclusively Terabridges members. We always love looking for opportunities to contribute to the FIRST community, and it’s always rewarding to see all our work and contributions come together in a very successful event.

One highlight of our scrimmage every year is our poem contest. This year, we challenged teams to write a creative poem related to this year’s Unearthed theme. It was fun and heartwarming to hear the teams’ poems, and we were amazed by the creativity displayed by all the teams.

Throughout the day, we loved watching all the teams tackle the Unearthed challenges with ingenuity and enthusiasm. Terabridges was extremely impressed with the level of talent and intelligence we saw from our younger peers in FLL. We can’t wait to see what they accomplish in the future!

In addition to supporting our FLL teams and running the scrimmage, Terabridges also set up a table to showcase two of our FTC robots. This was a great opportunity for FLL teams and families to learn more about the next chapter in their FIRST robotics journey.

We are very proud of all the teams who participated in the event, especially our local Upper St. Clair teams. It was great to see all the teams having a good time and doing amazing things in robotics. Congratulations to all teams who participated!
