Snow Much Love

Snow Much Love, held on January 17, 2026, was a hands-on assistive technology build event hosted by Team TeraBridges (FTC #18603). The event brought together nearly 40 participants—students, families, engineers, and community volunteers from across the Pittsburgh region—who ventured out in sub-zero temperatures on a snowy morning to build assistive toys for children with disabilities. The program opened with a welcome address by Dr. Tim Wagner of Upper Saint Clair High School, who underscored the value of community collaboration in advancing a meaningful cause. Participants spanned all age groups—from elementary school students to adults—reflecting a truly multigenerational effort.

Guided by TeraBridges’ mission to use robotics for real-world impact through assistive technology and advocacy, participants designed and built custom solutions while learning hands-on STEM skills such as circuitry, wiring, soldering, and drilling. In the spirit of giving, 34 toys were donated to Child’s Way, extending the impact of Snow Much Love beyond the build activities.

More than just a build event, Snow Much Love reflected TeraBridges’ belief that they are not just building robots—but building life-changing opportunities.
