Today, TeraBridges went to Child’s Way daycare for medically fragile children and donated assistive technology. We had so much fun seeing the happy faces of the children and the staff!
Specifically, our team customed two automatic bubble blower toys to be operated with the use of an assistive button. We rewired the internals to a mono jack in the back of the toy, allowing a button to be plugged in to turn on the bubble machine.
We also taught the staff how to operate the toys, refill the bubble solution, and recharge it.
The children quickly accustomed to the toys and we are pleased to see how happy they were with the bubble blower! Terabridges keenly looks forward to working with Child’s Way in the future and crafting more assistive technology.
