Humotech Industry Visit

This weekend on October 24th, our team had the opportunity to visit Humotech, a Pittsburgh-based company specializing in wearable robotics and assistive technology.

During our visit, the Humotech team introduced us to how their technology bridges human biomechanics and robotics. We learned that their systems are designed to simulate and study human movement in real time, helping scientists and clinicians develop devices that restore mobility and improve quality of life. The engineers also emphasized the importance of collaboration and experimentation, explaining how partnerships with universities and labs worldwide drive progress in rehabilitation robotics.

We left Humotech inspired by how technology and compassion intersect in their work. The visit deepened our understanding of what it means to be innovators — not just builders of competition robots, but future engineers capable of designing solutions that make a difference in everyday lives.
