On September 13th, TerabBridges had the exciting opportunity to be part of Pitt Hungama’s Diwali Celebration, one of the largest cultural festivals in Pittsburgh. Diwali, the Festival of Lights, is a holiday that brings communities together to celebrate joy, new beginnings, and cultural traditions—and we were so glad to share robotics with over a thousand attendees who came out for the event.
We set up a booth where visitors of all ages could stop by to try hands-on STEM activities. From making custom pins, to navigating our indie maze, to learning about the world of FIRST robotics, there was always something happening at our table. It was great to see such curiosity and excitement, and we loved watching people light up when they got to interact with our team and projects.
Bringing robotics into spaces like Diwali helps us connect with new communities, share the opportunities within FIRST, and inspire the next generation of engineers and innovators. We can’t wait for our next outreach event!
